Refunds and cancellations

Scope

This policy applies to paid advisory sessions, document reviews, and packages offered by Smartcognitivetech. The site does not sell physical products or software subscriptions.

Eligibility

Full refunds are available if you cancel a confirmed session at least 48 hours before the start time and no written deliverable has been issued. Document-review fees are refundable only if we have not yet begun reading your files.

Timeframe for requests

Request a refund within 14 days of the charge date, or before the session if cancelling early. Later requests are considered only where required by mandatory consumer law.

Partial refunds

If a two-session package has completed one session, we refund the unused session portion minus any written memo already delivered. Hourly follow-ups already held are non-refundable.

Non-refundable items

• Completed pathway briefs and annotated application dossiers
• Sessions you attended, including video calls
• No-shows without notice
• Administrative card or bank fees charged by payment providers where not recoverable

Cancellations and rescheduling

You may reschedule once without fee if you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Later changes may forfeit the session fee or deposit. We will reschedule at no charge if we must cancel for operational reasons.

Deposits and no-shows

Multi-session packages may require a deposit to hold dates. Deposits apply to the final invoice. A no-show without notice forfeits the session fee.

Work already started

Once we have opened your documents or drafted pathway notes, fees for that portion are earned. Remaining unused time may still be refundable under the partial-refund rules above.

Process and timing

Email info@smartcognitivetech.digital with your name, booking date, and reason. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.
